The Twisted Stitches ladies have been running some great workshops to create some beautiful projects. Over the last couple of months, they have made Thread catchers, Mug Bags and Cutting Board holders. Next week they are making Christmas bells.

We had our first session of the GippSport Actober (Active in October) Program last night at the Yarram Country Club Lawn Bowls centre. It was a bit of a blustery night but we all had a lot of fun. There was a fair amount of laughing and I don’t think the lawn bowls club will be rushing out to sign any of us up, but it was a good night out.

If you would like to get active next week we are having a hit of Golf. You can head to the Yarram Golf Club for some tuition at 2-3pm or 4-5pm. I look forward to seeing you there.

Term 4 is about to begin. We have lots planned for this term. The weather is warming up and we have more daylight hours to enjoy. It’s Actober, so it’s time to get Active in October, join in our Free GippSport weekly sessions. Yarram Ag Society have some Open Gardens to visit. Our Annual Dinner is also here, see you on the 20th at the Club Hotel. We have local girls Holly & Marley Jonston coming to sing for us, so come and support them.
